General Manager - Indonesia

On behalf of our client, a stunning 5* hotel in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia we are looking for a General Manager. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Provides the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire Associates to deliver exceptional service to drive financial success.
  • Oversees all aspects of operations by exercising demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of hotel management, including sales and marketing, food and beverage, revenue management, and the rooms division.
  • Enables innovation and drives results by executing sales and marketing campaigns, understanding dynamic revenue management, and driving profit to the bottom line through strong financial controls.
  • Works with the Guidance Team and Department Heads to establish goals and objectives that coordinate with the overall hotel-wide goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates changes to the guest's needs, the hotel's guest mix and competitive trends to recommend appropriate products/services and operational changes to ensure constant guest and employee satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates and promotes teamwork among all management and staff while creating an environment in which all Associates reach their full potential.
  • Manages revenue stream and expenses to create the maximum return for all stakeholders ensuring the long-term growth and success of the property. Creates short and long-term plans to combat market and seasonal fluctuation.
  • Plans the budget, brings its intended path to life. Makes adjustments in real time to flex expenses based on the business volume and seasonality. 
     
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of hotel work experience on a Managerial level at 5-star business hotels or resort hotels. 
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or extensive work experience in a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent guest service scores/3rd party review sites.
  • Experience in Asia is essential and experience in cruise operation management would be an advantage.
  • Energetic, creative and dynamic with love for outdoor sea activities.
  • Experience in ownership relationship management.
  • Highly adaptable with action & results driven mentality.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on, “lead by example”-work style.
